MVMS is a web application built for MSD Constructions to facilitate vegetation asset management, which is supported by a companion mobile application.

The MVMS solution enables the allocation and administration of day-to-day activities, relating to vegetation management in remote locations in the field. Specific features and advantages of MVMS are as follows:

Web Application:

• Task Scheduling on an Interactive Gantt Chart – Provides the ability to quickly assign/reassign team tasks, view task progress, schedule work in advance and illustrate and overview of pending tasks
• Dashboarding – Live updates on; asset maintenance compliance, completed and pending task statistics and view upcoming tasks
• Vegetation Asset Management – Ability to edit asset details, for example adjust the frequency an asset should be inspected
• Companion App Data Syncing – Keeps all remote mobile devices up to date with the latest inspections, tasks, and asset details
• View assets on a map – Ability to view vegetation assets on a map, customise map layers to suit requirements, markup and measuring tools
• Live Environmental Interactions – Provides live reports on how your assets interact with surrounding flora and fauna, allowing better insight and awareness when preparing and conducting activities
• Function Based Security – Control access to various sectors within the web application
• Task Integrity – The task creation workflow ensures all tasks are reviewed prior to being approved for scheduling
• Task Controls - Ability to edit and configure task controls. During the task reviewing process task prestart controls can be put in place to ensure once works start all health and safety regulations, site conditions, permits, COVID requirements and other restrictions are being followed. Default controls can be configured to apply to any new tasks

Mobile:

• Offline Maps – Ability to load custom offline maps to mobile devices
• Cross Platform – Available on IOS and Android devices
• Map First Navigation – View all assets and tasks directly on a map on the mobile device, allowing easy identification of assets and tasks near a current location
• Operate Offline – The mobile app continues to function out of mobile reception and will sync back to the central database when connectivity is restored
• Live Updates – As new tasks are scheduled, they will appear on the mobile device while in mobile range, ensuring the field team is aware of the up-to-date schedule and inspection information
• Inspections – Perform inspections on vegetation assets, mark compliance, add photos and plan required works in the field if necessary
• Tasks – Provide a list of all assigned tasks as well as approved nearby tasks, enabling an efficient work force, particularly in remote regions
